Arrived at our camp safely. Now at 3000 metres. Couple of the trekkers were sick but everyone OK now they are in camp.
Our Porters had our tents set up and hot tea and coffee with popcorn waiting for us. Mary and I are sharing a tent (thank goodness) as we can help each other in and out!! The sleeping bags are really cosy.
Hopefully will have more internet access higher up the mountain.

How amazing are you guys that you have already exceeded your fundraising target?? We already knew that you are an amazing group of people.
ReplyDeleteNow that you have started the climb of Mt Kilimanjaro - there is an additional assignment. Donna and the rest of the gang need to sing "My Body Makes Music" and "I'm a little teapot" (stamp stamp clap style) AND photos are required to complete this assignment!!
For those of you out there who do not know what this assignment means you will need to sign up for next year's Camp Quality companion training!!
A special congratulations to Donna who has already climbed the technology mountain of "blogging" and Brad my hope for you is that the generator is not toooo heavy!!
